Newfoundland: Homecoming

THE FOURTH JOURNEY BECOMES THE DEFINITIVE ONE

The best places. The most unforgettable campsites. The trails, people, coastlines, and moments that made us fall in love with Newfoundland.

Reservations open August 12 at 8PM

Explore the Expedition

NOT ANOTHER TRIP AROUND THE ISLAND

This is the journey we have spent years building.

Three expeditions. Thousands of miles. Hundreds of hours of research. Countless conversations with locals. In 2027, we are bringing the very best of it all together.

Every location earns its place

THE PROMISE

No filler. No rushing around the island to check boxes. Every trail, stop, and campsite is here because it creates a moment worth remembering.

01

Best-of-the-best route

Years of first-hand exploration refined into one focused expedition.

02

Time to actually experience it

Less racing. More time to walk, explore, connect, and take it all in.

03

A true expedition

Flexible enough to follow weather, wildlife, local knowledge, and unforgettable opportunities.

What waits for you

Sixteen days where every day feels bigger than the last.

🌊

Atlantic-edge camps

Sleep beside hidden coves, beneath mountains, near waterfalls, and high above the ocean.

🐋

Whales and wildlife

Watch humpbacks offshore, search for moose and eagles, and leave room for the moments nature decides to give us.

🧊

Icebergs in July

Ancient ice drifting through hidden coves is never guaranteed, but it is never forgotten.

⛰️

Trails with a purpose

Remote beaches, abandoned places, mountaintop views, and unforgettable destinations beyond the pavement.

🥘

Food and culture

Seafood, music, working communities, local stories, and a culture deeply tied to the sea.

🤝

People you will remember

The warmth and generosity of Newfoundlanders is one of the greatest parts of coming here.

The Campsites

These are not places to sleep.
They are part of the reason you came.

Wake to waves below your tent. Watch fog reveal mountains. Cook breakfast beside the Atlantic. Fall asleep somewhere most visitors will never know exists.

A DAY ON HOMECOMING

There is no standard day.

You may wake beside the ocean, climb into the clouds before lunch, eat at a dockside restaurant, hike to an isolated beach, and end the night beneath a waterfall.

The major experiences are planned. The exact route stays flexible enough to follow the best weather, the best conditions, and the moments no schedule could predict.

Morning - Coffee beside the North Atlantic↓

Midday- Remote roads, local food, and trails worth following↓

Evening- A campsite you will talk about for years

MORE THAN SCENERY

The island brings you here. The people make you want to return.

We have seen parts driven across the island, repair shops kept open late, strangers offering advice, and locals welcoming our crews like old friends. Homecoming is about experiencing Newfoundland, not just driving through it.

THIS TRIP IS FOR YOU IF

You want more than another vacation.

You value experiences more than things. You want Newfoundland beyond the tourist stops. You are willing to trade predictability for discovery. You want stories that stay with you for life.

WHY THIS TRIP IS DIFFERENT

Built from experience, not a line drawn across a map.

We know which famous places fall short, which hidden roads lead somewhere better, which campsites are worth changing a schedule for, and which parts of Newfoundland deserve more time.

THE HARDEST PART

Deciding to go.

After that, you request the time, prepare your vehicle, meet your crew, and board the ferry. The shoreline disappears behind you, and someday finally becomes real.

There will always be a reason to wait.
There may not always be another Homecoming.

RESERVATIONS OPEN

August 12

8:00 PM Eastern

Homecoming will be deliberately limited to a small group. Once the available vehicle positions are claimed, registration closes.

Small groups - Better camps, faster movement, closer experience

First come - Reservations are secured in order received

No expansion - We will not simply add more vehicles when full

Do not assume space will remain the next morning.

ESSENTIAL DETAILS

What you need to know

Is this the same trip as previous Newfoundland expeditions?

No. Homecoming is a newly refined best-of-the-best journey built from everything learned during our previous expeditions.

Will we travel around the entire island?

No. The focus is depth, not racing around the island. We are concentrating on the places that create the strongest overall experience.

Is the itinerary fixed?

The major experiences are planned, but the daily route remains flexible for weather, trail conditions, wildlife, and local opportunities.

Do I need extensive overlanding experience?

You need an appropriate vehicle, required equipment, preparation, and the right mindset. You do not need to be a lifelong overlander.

YOUR SOMEDAY HAS A DATE

Come home to the wild.

The mountains, whales, coastlines, communities, trails, waterfalls, hidden coves, and campsites at the edge of the world are waiting.

July 2–17, 2027

Stop dreaming. Start doing. No More Someday.
