The High Country
Climb into a landscape of ridges, valleys, headwaters, and distant horizons far removed from New Brunswick’s more familiar coastal routes.
Endless forest roads
Travel deep into an enormous working forest on gravel roads, tight trails, and forgotten tracks stretching far beyond towns and pavement.
Peak fall color
Experience the highlands as autumn takes over the landscape and the forest turns into a wall of red, orange, gold, and evergreen.
Rivers and headwaters
Follow the waterways that shape the province, from small mountain streams to powerful rivers cutting through the interior.
Cold-weather camps
Gather around the fire during crisp October evenings and wake to mist, frost, and the unmistakable feeling that the seasons are changing.
A true traverse
This is not a loop around the edge of the region. The route is designed to cross through its interior and connect places rarely experienced as one continuous journey.

The Highland Traverse will be deliberately limited to a small group. Once the available vehicle positions are claimed, registration closes.
Small groups - Better camps, faster movement, closer experience
First come - Reservations are secured in order received
No expansion - We will not simply add more vehicles when full
