Presenting the 2027 207 Overland Winter Icebreaker Getaway! After overwhelming positive feedback, we are excited to announce our return to NEOC as our WIG base camp in Millinocket. For 2027, this 4 day and 3 night retreat has been redesigned again from the ground up featuring the very best overland style winter exploring in one of the most scenic areas of the entire state. Have a blast exploring the untamed icy wilderness of the most remote corner of Maine each day before returning back to the warmth and comfort of our lodge, featuring your own private beautiful home for the weekend. We have taken everything learned over the past 6 years to make WIG 2027 the biggest and very best winter overland event in the Northeast.

Event Information

Welcome to New England Outdoor Center on Millinocket Lake Maine, the gateway to the famous Golden Road and Mount Katahdin. For 2027, WIG is featuring more lodging options, more rides, more daylight hours, and more activities.

Check in time at New England Outdoor Center begins at 3PM Friday with a special WIG mixer event starting at 6PM.

After checking in, there is a full schedule of trips for the weekend to sign up for. From laid back scenic journeys through the winter wonderland, to breaking trail through fresh powder, to special exclusive destinations and night rides - there is something here for everyone! If someone in your party wishes, relaxing at the lodge in an area as beautiful as this is never a bad choice either. The lodge features 2 restaurants and a brewery which is sure to satisfy any appetite. If you would rather eat on your own terms, each cabin features your own fully equipped kitchen for cooking up a culinary masterpiece for you and your friends/family.

Each day and night at WIG will be full of activities for you to choose from. Smooth scenic day trips carving fresh tracks in the powder, epic night rides, and more. Or try your hand at the cross country ski trails, snowshoeing, sightseeing and more. The possibilities here are endless.

Registration Information

This year we are doing registration a bit different. Pricing has been updated with some larger cabins appearing at a reduced rate. Your exact cabin including bed layout descriptions are available at checkout. All that is needed to reserve a cabin is a $120 deposit. Deposit holders will be sent an invoice for the remaining amount, due 6 months before the event. Cabins are first come, first served and will not last long so plan to register immediately when the links go live. The Friday evening mixer event is $30 per adult and includes all food, tax, and gratuity. Bar tab is extra. Because 207 Overland is reserving the entire lodge for the event, reservation deposits are final and refunds for cancelations will only be possible once a canceled spot is filled. All reservation transfers are locked 30 days before the event.

All attendees must be registered or staying on site in provided lodge accommodations with another registered attendee. Off-site attendance and winter camping is not permitted for the 2027 event.

lodge pricing

Pricing for the event ranges from $1352 to $2708 per accommodation. This includes everyone who stays in a single option and there is no extra charge for additional vehicles. The total stay is 4 days and 3 nights. Only a $120 Deposit is due up front. Payment may be split into multiple options including financing when invoiced.

Breakfast, dinner, and bar tab not included. Extra fee may apply for dogs.

Lodging may be occupied by more than one family if you so choose to help you split costs.

Vehicle requirments

Green, blue, and black trips offered during WIG!

Winter travel off-road is unique, fun, and entirely unpredictable. While some of the roads we will travel are typically plowed, a quick winter storm before the event or even during can change that. Because of this we ask that any vehicle that attends meet the minimum blue level 207 Overland requirements below. Please reach out with any questions about your specific vehicle before registering if needed. In addition, spare reserve fuel is mandatory, good tires, and cold weather gear adequate for extreme cold.
